A Little About Us... Nokomis Cycle
is proudly celebrating its 10th year in business in 2004!
Every neighborhood should have its own bike
shop! Close to home you'll find Nokomis Cycle at 46th and Bloomington.
Owner Dwight Gronlund feels quite fortunate to both live and work in the
neighborhood. Dwight prides himself on his commitment to quality service
and customer satisfaction: "As the owner, I can take as much time as I
need to provide quality service for every customer." As both business
owner and local resident, Dwight is keenly aware of the reciprocal
relationship between neighborly care, concern and good business.
Celebrating it's tenth year this August,
Nokomis Cycle has been well-oiled and tuned under Dwight's expert skills
and undaunted attention to detail. It's not uncommon for Dwight to spend
up to two hours "hand-building" each bike he sells. He spends additional
time ensuring that all adjustable parts fit just right for each customer.
Emphasizing the importance of proper fit and comfort, Dwight will even
customize your current bike: "If you are comfortable with the frame, we
can change the bike to fit your needs" he states. Nokomis Cycle also
provides a wide array of repair services, tune-ups and overhauls at very
reasonable rates.
